History:
Certified Ambulance Group was established in the late 1980s by the company's President and Founder, Chris A. Gentile. Developed out of a consulting project, Certified Ambulance Group began providing billing services to a community in Connecticut that needed additional funding for their ambulance service. Chris found the vital revenue stream necessary to prevent this ambulance service from closing. Thus the EMS Revenue Recovery program was born. The concept of Revenue Recovery caught on in Connecticut and emergency services providers' in other states began to see the benefits of similar programs and requested Chris to provide presentations to introduce the benefits of Certified Ambulance Group's concept of billing. Currently Certified Ambulance Group provides revenue recovery services in fourteen (14) states and has well over two hundred (200) clients making Certified Ambulance Group one of the largest and most diverse emergency services billing companies in the country.
